The Foot Sanctuary was created in October 2017 as a unique spa experience to provide a place of healing for our guests and local community.
We believe there are many individuals that would benefit from our curative Foot Soaks. We provide a safe and healing space for those that would like to experience comforting and therapeutic touch in a sacred space.
Our Foot Soaks are a wonderful way to share in a joyful celebration together including celebrations for birthdays, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, graduation, girls spa time, employee appreciation events and more…
The healing foot soaks we offer are mixed with a blend of sea, Himalayan and Epsom salts combined with a blend of essential oils, flowers and herbs to produce both deep relaxation and detoxification. Our soak blends are in beautiful copper bowls that naturally enhance any treatment and encourage healthy cell development and increased blood flow. Positive and negative energy flow through the copper helping to reduce pain and inflammation.
As a guest, you are completely clothed for our soothing Foot Soak services and can share this experience with a spouse, family member, co-worker or a trusted friend. Melissa - Owner + Holistic Skin Therapist
Melissa Stewart has over 15 years of experience as a Holistic Skin Care Therapist. Melissa offers luxurious treatments to help you have glowing, radiant skin from the inside out. Melissa's unique attention to detail engages your body's natural healing ability by incorporating a therapeutic touch, integrating both medical skincare science with natural solutions.
She was educated at Island Spa Beauty & Esthetics School in Honolulu, Hawaii and received certifications in Massage Therapy including Lomi-Lomi and Esthetics. She graduated from Loyola Universirty, New Orleans, Louisiana with a BBA degree in Marketing.
Melissa is an experienced and knowledgeable Holistic Skin Therapist and Educator with additional certifications in Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning, Dermaflash, Oncology Esthetics, Micro-Needling (Collagen Induction Therapy), Nano-Infusion, Ultrasonic, Hydro-facials and Ultrasound + EMS Skincare Treatments.. She is continuing her education with Neo-Lifting facial techniques that incorporates buccal, lifting, and lymphatic massage. She enjoys educationg and mentoring women in their estheitics and wellness skills.
In her free time she loves walking the many beautiful trails of Northen Colorado with her husband and friends. She is looking forward to traveling and walking the many lovely trails all over the world! One of her favorite things to do is experience yummy food and drinking Lattes and Cappuccinos. She enjoys baking, cooking, making homemade hand balms and room sprays to sell at the spa for clients to enjoy!

Gretchen - Owner
Gretchen is a licensed massage therapist trained at the Healing Arts Institute here in Fort Collins. She has always had a passion for helping people to find healing through the body-mind connection. She firmly believes in recognizing the needs of each individual and working together to teach them how to maintain that healing.
She currently specializes in relaxation massage, hot stone, reflexology, and deep tissue massage with a focus on Body Insight. This technique incorporates deep tissue with movement to release muscle tension. She feels strongly that continuing education is an important part of massage, and is dedicated to increasing her skill set as a massage therapist.

Abbie - Massage Therapist
Abbie has been practicing massage therapy since 1991. Abbie considers massage therapy an art form and strives to create a balanced massage experience, responding to the unique needs of each individual. Whether you are seeking a soothing, gentle and relaxing massage, a deep massage to work out problem areas, a sports massage - or some combination of these - Abbie will customize your massage experience to meet your needs.

Alyssa - Esthetician / Brow & Lash Artist
Alyssa's passion for skincare began during high school when she faced the challenges of hormonal acne. Without guidance on effective treatments and products, she took matters into her own hands, ultimately becoming an esthetician to both learn for herself and help others on their skin-healing journeys. Specializing in acne, she connects deeply with her clients, offering personalized care based on her own experiences.
Alyssa is dedicated to educating her clients about skincare products and lifestyle habits that support skin health. She strives to create a welcoming, comfortable space where clients can feel at ease and confident. Certified in microdermabrasion, trained on gua sha, facial cupping, specialized facial massage, dermaflash, LED light therapy, tinting, and waxing. She is passionate about continuing her education in advanced esthetics techniques and certifications. Alyssa takes pride in staying present and attentive during each service. “My clients have always complimented me on my grounded touch and massage when doing facials. My favorite part about being an esthetician is making people feel comfortable in their skin and bringing their confidence back!”
She is a Colorado native and has lived in this area her entire life. When she's not a skincare expert, she enjoys quality time with family, friends, and her dog, Tito. Her self-care rituals include reading, soaking in baths, and indulging in her personal skincare routine.

B - Massage Therapist
Massage therapy is where anatomy and healing come together for me. There are a myriad of measurable benefits from massage therapy, ranging from effective pain relief for an injury to improved cognitive function. The mind-body connection has a powerful impact on an individual's overall mental health. Massage therapy can be utilized in all communities and at any stage of your wellness journey. I pride myself on providing safe and inclusive environments above all else. Particularly for members of the LBGTQIA+ community that maybe uncomfortable with touch or transitioning. I encourage my clients to discuss their individual focus areas and areas you would prefer to avoid. One of my core passions is self care. I enjoy offering a relaxing place of refuge for all my clients. My massage is a relaxing balance of rejuvenation and restoration with a knowledgeable and mindful professional. I specialize in Swedish massage which focuses on connective tissue and myofascial relaxation. I offer Cupping, Target Hot Stones, Aromatherapy, Foot Soaks and CBD as enhancements to any of my massages therapy sessions. My work is deeply rooted around Chakra work and Traditional Chinese medicine principles. I am sensitive to energies and intuitive to the body systems. I hold an AS Integrative Health and my AA in Health Sciences. I also hold training and licenses in: Massage Therapy, Reiki Master, Accudetox Practitioner, and Yoga Instruction. Training for both Gua Sha and Prenatal massage currently.
Outside of The Soak Spa I study and read mostly. I study Radiology, Herbalism, and Meditation. And I love to skate, I retired from Roller Derby in 2016, now coach my daughters team.I also write yoga classes and dabble with sound bowls in my free time.

Cara - Massage Therapist
Cara learned the Rossiter System (a bodywork technique that uses active stretching to release bound up connective tissue) and Thai Massage while working for a chiropractor here in Fort Collins. She decided she loved helping people find pain relief so she wanted to get her massage therapy license with the state. She graduated from Healing Arts Institute in 2011 where she learned Body Insight, which is a Neuromuscular therapy that combines deep tissue and active movement to effectively release muscle knots and free the nerves to restore function.
She has worked in a variety of environments and she is grateful for the experience and confidence gained by working with all body types. While she still enjoys giving a focused, active style of bodywork. She also loves to see the relief that comes from a deeply relaxing Swedish massage. She is trained in Prenatal and offers Cupping, Hot Stones, Aromatherapy and CBD as beneficial additions to her massages. She performs Body Scrubs and Wraps and Foot Soaks with Massage.
In her free time she loves to garden, paint, knit, and complete DIY house projects.

Dawn H- Massage Therapist
Dawn offers twenty plus years of experience performing therapeutic massage. She practiced within two highly respected OB/GYN groups in Fort Collins & Winston Salem, North Carolina as well as with several World Class Hotel Spas in both Vail and Clearwater, Florida. Women's healthcare is her passion. Cancer recovery, safe touch reintroduction for survivors of incest & abuse, creating positive body acceptance for those struggling with eating disorders, prenatal, postpartum, menopause, stress relief. Her work does not include deep tissue, rather it is deeply relaxing, allowing the body to quiet in order to facilitate one's own healing.

Erica - Massage Therapist
Erica graduated from the Healing Arts Institute of Fort Collins in 2016, where she trained in a variety of massage modalities, including Relaxation/Swedish, Neuromuscular/Deep Tissue, Sports, Structural Kinesiology, Pregnancy, and Abhyanga. Growing up in a holistic-minded household, Erica developed an early appreciation for natural healing practices, which continue to shape her approach to wellness today.
With a passion for being of service, Erica believes massage therapy offers a powerful space for individuals to find comfort, relaxation, and the tools to support their own healing. Her sessions are tailored to each client's needs, blending gentle and deep-pressure techniques to create a calm and restorative experience. Erin - Massage Therapist / Reiki Master
Erin began her journey into the world of massage therapy 20 years ago when she was introduced to the healing magic of Reiki. Through this training, she learned the energetic language of the human body which granted her access to the deepest parts of herself and has led her to this sacred work. Trained in Tempe, Arizona at The Southwest Institute of Healing Arts as a Massage Therapist and Certified Transformational Life Coach, Erin facilitates integrative sessions using intuitive touch techniques and gentle dialogue to empower each client to take ownership of their own healing potential. Erin acknowledges each client with deep reverence and gratitude for she believes that our body holds the stories of our soul and must be held accordingly as the sacred vessel that it is. And while her work does not include Deep Tissue Massage, her clients can expect to drop into a deep state of profound relaxation allowing their bodies to address their highest healing needs. She specializes in Reflexology and Toe Reading. Erin’s passions include reading, writing, working with children, meditating, facilitating Ceremonial Cacao circles, hugging trees, swinging in the park, giggling, making friends with bugs, really just anything that brings joy and allows her to love on this earth as much as she can. She has 3 international bestselling books under her belt and a 4 th to launch in Fall 2024.

Heidi - Massage Therapist
Heidi has been a Massage Therapist since 2016 and decided to pursue massage because she is passionate about helping others. She graduated from Capri College in Iowa and has that Midwestern work effort. She loves being able to combine Swedish massage style with deep tissue techniques to create a therapeutic and relaxing experience for her clients. She loves working with prenatal clients and those who suffer from chronic pain. She prides herself in being able to listen to her clients concerns and making sure they feel comfortable every step of the way. She also has a passion for animals and is a very busy pet sitter for all of the kitties around Fort Collins. Heidi will go out of her way to create the best spa experience for you!

Kim C - Massage Therapist
Kim graduated in 2021 from Front Range Community College with over 1,000 hours of combined training in massage, reflexology and anatomy and physiology. She is particularly interested in the place where modern science and holistic healing converge. Kim uses an intuitive and grounded touch, along with her knowledge of human anatomy and her training in different bodywork modalities to create a uniquely tailored session based on her client’s needs and goals. She enjoys performing Comfort Touch, Swedish, Neuromuscular, Deep tissue and Reflexology and regularly incorporates multiple techniques in a single session. Kim looks forward to cultivating a therapeutic massage with you at the spa!
*Comfort Touch is a nurturing style of acupressure that gives special consideration to the physical and emotional needs of elderly and/or ill clients. Primary intention is to provide comfort through techniques that promote deep relaxation, and relief from Pain.
Kim also performs these enhancements- hot and cold stone, reflexology, aromatherapy, and sinus relief treatment.

Rana - Massage Therapist
Rana is a highly skilled massage therapist with over 20 years experience. A Colorado native, she got her massage license from Cambridge College in Aurora, CO. Her love of massage stems from her childhood after witnessing how the therapeutic effects of massage helped her with a neck injury. She specializes in deep tissue, sports, swedish, chair massage, prenatal and hot stone massage. She is experienced with neuromuscular massage focused on injury recovery and rehabilitation. If you have been affected by whiplash, herniated discs, sciatica, headaches, back pain, muscle sprains, or TMJ she would love to help. When not working Rana loves to spend time with her husband and their three dogs Saydee, Gizmo and Pretzel.


Taleaha - Sound Practitioner
With over 15 years of experience in the wellness industry, Taleaha began her career as a massage therapist before uncovering her passion for holistic skincare and education. Holding licenses as an esthetician and esthetics educator, along with certifications as a herbalist, reiki, and sound practitioner, she is trained in a range of holistic skincare modalities, including lymphatic drainage, facial cupping, gua sha, acupressure, sculpting facial massage, and reiki-infused sound therapy.
Recently moved from Arizona, where she owned her own business for the last 7 years, Taleaha now furthers her education in holistic nutrition at NTI in Denver. Outside of work, she finds solace in crafting herbal remedies, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, gardening, playing music with her band, and snuggling up with her fur babies with a cup of tea and book in hand.

Jamie, a Fort Collins native, is a dedicated mom to two kids and enjoys balancing family life with her love for her career. She is a graduate of Bear Heart School of Massage, where she trained in a variety of techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, cupping, and hot stone massage. With a background in small business management, Jamie brings a well-rounded skill set to her career. Her professional journey is fueled by a deep passion for women's health, and she strives to support and empower women in her community. Outside of work, Jamie cherishes the time spent outdoors, whether hiking, camping, or exploring nature. She believes in the healing power of touch and aims to create a nurturing environment for all of her clients.

Sonja - Assistant Manager
With over a decade of experience in customer service, I turned my passion for creativity into a thriving nail business, Flawless Klaws, after relocating to Northern Colorado four years ago. I love making people smile with my detailed nail art and cherish the time I spend supporting my daughter, a competitive cheerleader. My eye for detail and love for artistry fuel my work and inspire me every day.

Mia - Retail Manager
Mia is a student at Colorado State University and is working towards her bachelors degree in Psychology. In her free time, she likes to read and hike. Mia grew up on the Western Slope of Colorado with her family and moved to Fort Collins in 2022.

Sydney - Social Media Expert
Sydney grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Fort Collins to attend CSU in 2013. She graduated with her Bachelors in Fine Arts and concentrated in drawing. She fell in love with learning about permaculture and sustainable agriculture after she graduated. When she's not at the Spa you can find her gardening, tending to her chickens, baking homemade bread, and crafting.
